Figured birdseye maple with a penetrating dye stain. I was really interested to see how these would look. The results are quite varied depending on the figure in the wood. Some shimmer and shift more than others, and some look a lot like stabwood. Finished with an extremely durable oil-based gloss finish.
NOTES: There were only 1 set of each color made. The pictures shown are the exact panels you will receive and should be in order of the color choice drop-down list. Each of these is very much one of a kind.
Taking accurate pictures of these panels is very difficult. A camera lens interprets the shifts in the grain very differently than the human eye. I include more than one pic of a panel now and then to show the variation.
Talon - Maybe my favorite of this series. Just plain badass.
Magma- Red and orange, swirly, angry, and beautiful, like magma.
Battle Red - This is a layered dye with blood red over a steel gray. The gray is subtle, but definitely present, popping out here and there.
Blood Red - Just what it sounds like; a deep, rich red. The video I took isn't great, apparently the direct sun and deep red was too much for the camera.
